Zachary Bowlby, the founder of FaunaPro Wildlife Control, is making a mark in southern Illinois by addressing a critical community need: safe, effective, and humane wildlife control. After completing the Carbondale Accelerator Program offered by the Illinois Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at SIU, Bowlby took significant steps to elevate his business, earning $1,250 in funding to support its growth.
FaunaPro Wildlife Control is a locally owned and operated company that provides professional nuisance wildlife control and remediation services. The business is built on a commitment to humane practices, ensuring property owners have effective solutions for wildlife damage while respecting the environment.
As a client of the Illinois SBDC at SIU, Bowlby shared, "Everyone I encountered at the SBDC is genuinely interested in the success of my business, and the resources available are unmatched by my solo efforts. They helped me understand realistic budgeting options and emphasized the details needed to make my business more professional. Thanks to their support, FaunaPro is now very close to qualifying for state contracts."
Looking ahead, Bowlby envisions significant growth for FaunaPro, including expanding services into Missouri and Kentucky, hiring employees, and offering an even broader range of wildlife solutions. His drive and commitment showcase the entrepreneurial spirit that strengthens southern Illinois.
We proudly celebrate FaunaPro Wildlife Control’s progress and congratulate Zachary Bowlby on his achievements. May his success inspire others to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams and make a lasting impact in their communities!
