Virtue & Vision: Building Better Businesses Through Digital Strategy
Virtue & Vision exists to help small local businesses strengthen their digital footprint, uncover trends that improve operations, and ultimately win loyal customers. The company’s mission is to help small businesses grow through innovative strategies with measurable results.
Virtue & Vision is solely owned and operated by Lindsey Zollner, an accomplished professional with nearly two decades of experience in project management, public relations, and customer experience process improvement within the commercial real estate industry. When Zollner’s role at a global consulting firm was eliminated, she began to seriously consider starting her own company. Around that time, she saw an announcement for the Carbondale Accelerator Program—a 10-week business launch course offered by the Illinois Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at SIU in partnership with the City of Carbondale—and knew the timing was perfect.
Zollner brought her ideas and passion to the SBDC business advisors, who helped her clarify her target market, create financial projections, and build a sustainable business model. She said having the structure and accountability of the Carbondale Accelerator Program helped drive her forward. “I had to meet solid deadlines, which meant procrastination wasn’t an option... If I wanted to succeed, I was forced to act. The advisors were always willing to guide me through challenges, and the program structure propelled my daydreams into reality.”
With their help, Zollner filed for her LLC and secured her EIN and business domain. She plans to formally launch in July 2025, offering customer experience (CX) surveys and insights as a core service. She intends to grow her business organically, beginning with outreach through her local chamber of commerce and professional networks.
Zollner sees Virtue and Vision as a long-term commitment to empowering small businesses to thrive. With strategy, structure, and support behind her, she’s well-positioned to make an impact.
